The Most Instagram Worthy Photo Spots on Marco Island, Florida (that aren’t just the beaches)

Updated: Mar 23

Marco Island is one of the most gorgeous places in South Florida. I split my time living here and in Ohio, and without a doubt my content is always way better here. Something about the sunshine and island lifestlye just gets my creative juices flowing! The beaches are of course one of my favorite places to take photos, but there are so many other locations you should go for your next instagram photo shoot or TikTok video! I am sharing my favorite places and hidden spots for photos with you in this post. Check out my Instagram @_sincerelylovely and YouTube for more fashion and lifestyle content.

If you do decide to visit any of these locations, please remember to be respectful of your surroundings, locals, and wildlife.

As I am constantly adding to this post, it has also become a testament to how my content has improved over time! I started my content creation journey in summer of 2020, but didn't start taking it seriously until 2021. It's proof that we all start somewhere, so just post the damn photo! Who knows where it will take you.

SS Jolly Bridge

There is a small parking lot here, but it is better to bike or walk

Tiger Tail Beach (and board walks)

See my blog post on how to access the beach here

Docks behind Winn-Dixie (Soon to be Aldi)

To access, park in the back of the parking lot and walk to the canal on the other side of the bushes

South Beach

See my blog post on how to access the beach here

The J.W. Marriott

In my opinion this is the only acceptable hotel option on the island. It's where my family stayed for decades before we purchased our first home here.

Esplande Shoppes

Mackle Park

Located at 1361 Andulusia Terrace

The Shops of Olde Marco Village

The Goodlands Fishing Village

Marco Historical Museum and Gardens

Marco Walk Plaza

Everglades National Park

Watch out for gators!

Resident's Beach Chikee Huts

See my blog post on how to access them here

Island Plaza

Keewaydin

Only accessible by boat, but worth it! Rent your boat at Rose Marina and they will provide you with directions.

Shops at Marco (Publix Plaza)

Bike Paths

As I find more locations for Instagram photos, reels, and TikToks I will add them to this post, so do not forget to subscribe to my blog so you can stay updated :)
