My review of the Power XL Air Fryer: Plus Two Bonus Air Fryer Recipes

Updated: Feb 2, 2021

So I am just going to cut right to the chase and let you know, I'm pretty much obsessed with my new air fryer! If you do not have one yet, I highly recommend you get one! I got this for Christmas and have been using it non stop! Mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, fried ravioli, coconut shrimp, & steak fries are just some of my favorites so far! I wanted to share the recipes for the fried shrimp and ravioli with you. More air fryer recipes soon to come I'm sure!

Why I love it: The Power XL Vortex Air Fryer cooks very quickly & is easy to use. I never have to worry about things not being cooked all the way through, or cooked unevenly. Plus no oven preheat time! It has really cut meal prep time in half. It is also super easy clean up. I was a bit worried that it would be greasy, or baked on and hard to clean, but I just spray it out in thie sink! My fisrt attempt at mozerella sticks did not go well, and long story short they exploded and burned (I didn't freeze the cheese long enough, recipe to come later). What a mess right?! But the burnt cheese didnt even stick, just washed right off.

Before Christmas I had really started to get into what I call a "recipe rut." I felt uninspired. I cannot believe how much inspiration just adding a new kithen applience could bring! Maybe my favorte thing is that it came with a little recipe book with 38 different recipes. The recipies all contain foods up to 70% less the amount of callories than if this fod had been prepaired in a traditional fryer. My favorite food is fried chicken and wings so I was very happy about this!

The only draw back is the size. I wish it was bigger, I want to fry more! Usually I do things in multiple batches. That is why I reccomed the larger size, the 7qt. That is what I have and still want more space! But then it probably wouldnt fit away so neatly in the cubbord, so I guess the size is okay.

Check out my two favorite recipes so far!
